Soccer Recap: Clear Springs Snags Tenth Victory in Last 13 Games

Clear Springs proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by four) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Deer Park Deer a 1-0 shutout. Bailey Cooner had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Chargers.

Clear Springs is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those 13 contests. Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Clear Springs (ranked 114th) will meet Clear Creek (ranked 348th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Deer Park will take on Dickinson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 404 places (185 vs. 589).
