Recap: Camden Blue Devils vs. Central Valley Academy Thunder
The Camden Blue Devils have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 71-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central Valley Academy on Friday. Camden has not had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
It was another big night for Deacon Judd, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 16 rebounds for Central Valley Academy. That makes it four consecutive games in which Judd has scored at least a third of Central Valley Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Will Luke, who scored 17 points.
Camden's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Central Valley Academy, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
Camden will head out on the road to face off against the Golden Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Holland Patent will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 73rd). As for Central Valley Academy, they will be playing at home against the Express at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
