Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denham Springs). They blew past the White Castle Bulldogs, posting a 76-37 win. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Taylor Smith was her usual excellent self, going 8 for 16 on her way to 21 points in addition to six boards and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zariah Semere, who went 5 of 11 en route to 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Denham Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive matches.

Denham Springs' victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for White Castle, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-10.

Denham Springs has already played their next contest (against Woodlawn-B.R.), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. White Castle will head out to square off against University Lab at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
