Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. Tooele

The Jordan Beetdiggers will face off against the Tooele Buffaloes at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jordan has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 11.

On Monday, Jordan came up short against Cottonwood and fell 4-2. One thing that didn't help Jordan's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Javier Moreno.

Kevin Rodea and Will Gonsur scored both of Jordan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Tooele ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Layton Christian Academy, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tooele.

Tooele's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
