Baseball Recap: Camelback Comes Up Short

Camelback extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-6. They lost 22-2 to the West Point Dragons. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

As for West Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by six runs or more this season.

For West Point's part, Marco Medina was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave Medina a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kenyer Martinez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camelback will face off against Valley Vista at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Point, they will square off against La Junta at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
