Volleyball Recap: West Salem Comes Up Short

West Salem lost against South Salem on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans came up short against the Saxons, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: South Salem scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-23.

West Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South Salem, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, West Salem will be playing at home against Ashland on Saturday. As for South Salem, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Cascade on the 1st.
