Cuthbertson proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Charlotte Catholic Cougars. The Cavaliers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Cuthbertson's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Charlotte Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Cuthbertson will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
