Oak Hill has gone a perfect 8-0 against Boothbay recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Seahawks at 1:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Thursday, Oak Hill was able to grind out a solid victory over Mountain Valley, taking the game 7-4. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Oak Hill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Langlois, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave Langlois a new career-high.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boothbay). They blew past Hall-Dale 14-4 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Seahawks.
Casey Phelps was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Phelps was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.
In other batting news, Shawn Gamage was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Aidric Canada, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Oak Hill's record now sits at 4-9. As for Boothbay, their record is now 6-8.
Oak Hill came out on top in a nail-biter against Boothbay in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 9-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
