Volleyball Game Preview: Oak Park Northmen vs. Central Indians

The Oak Park Northmen will challenge the Central Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Oak Park comes in on 18 and Central on three.

On Thursday, Oak Park earned a 3-1 win over North Kansas City.

Oak Park had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Central got the win against Lincoln College Prep on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Central was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-12.

Oak Park pushed their record up to 25-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 18-12.

Everything went Oak Park's way against Central when the teams last played back in April, as Oak Park made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Northmen repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
