It was a good run, but Whitney unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a blow against the Jesuit Marauders, falling 73-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Whitney's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 13-4. As for Jesuit, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Whitney will take on Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jesuit, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Christian Brothers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Christian Brothers is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.8 points per game this season.
