Softball Preview: Waterloo Vikings vs. Jackson-Milton Bluejays
The Waterloo Vikings will challenge the Jackson-Milton Bluejays at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Jackson-Milton will be up against a hot Waterloo squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Vikings put the hurt on Lowellville with a sharp 13-3 win on Wednesday.
Jolean Hampton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk).
