Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Almont). They blew past the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers 11-3 on Monday. Avery Peake was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The victory (which was Almont's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those four contests. As for Croswell-Lexington, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8-3.

Almont will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pioneers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
