Basketball Game Preview: Ravenna Bulldogs vs. North Muskegon Norsemen

Ravenna is 2-8 against North Muskegon since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Ravenna Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the North Muskegon Norsemen at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ravenna comes in on three and North Muskegon on six.

Ravenna picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against Kent City by a score of 60-49.

Meanwhile, North Muskegon strolled past Calvin Christian with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 59-43. Given the Norsemen's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Squires are ranked 231st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ravenna's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for North Muskegon, their victory bumped their record up to 22-1.

Ravenna came up short against North Muskegon in their previous meeting last Friday, falling 41-34. Can Ravenna avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
