Football Recap: Wooster Takes a Loss

Wooster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Dover Crimson Tornadoes, falling 42-14. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 48-28 to the Crimson Tornadoes when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wooster's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Dover, they moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wooster will host Mansfield Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Generals will be up against the Tygers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.14 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Dover, they will take on Madison Comprehensive at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crimson Tornadoes will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
