Baseball Game Preview: Lake Mills Bulldogs vs. North Union Warriors

Lake Mills is a perfect 10-0 against North Union since June of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will host the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Lake Mills lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Cardinals on Friday. Considering the Bulldogs have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

North Union not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since June 5th (when they won 14-4). Everything went their way against Belmond-Klemme as they made off with a 12-6 win.

The victory made it two in a row for Lake Mills and bumps their season record up to 12-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for North Union, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.

Everything went Lake Mills' way against North Union in their previous meeting on June 9th, as Lake Mills made off with a 10-2 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
