Basketball Recap: Norwood-Norfolk Comes Up Short

Norwood-Norfolk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 75-24 defeat at the hands of the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flyers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-10 back in December of 2024.

Felix Bodeewes was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds for Tupper Lake. Ethan Barkley was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Norwood-Norfolk's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Tupper Lake, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwood-Norfolk will challenge Brushton-Moira at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st. As for Tupper Lake, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chateaugay at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
