Softball Recap: Dongola Comes Up Short

Dongola lost against Pope County back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dongola Demons came up short against the Pope County Pirates, falling 22-3. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dongola now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pope County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Dongola will look to defend their home field on March 28th against Shawnee at 4:30 p.m. As for Pope County, they will venture away from home to challenge Fairfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
