Baseball Game Preview: Desert Hills Thunder vs. Crimson Cliffs Mustangs

For the second straight game, Desert Hills will face off against Crimson Cliffs. The Thunder will take on the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

Desert Hills is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Crimson Cliffs, who was ranked 25th at the time (Desert Hills was ranked third). The Thunder narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Mustangs 11-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Thunder have posted since March 11th.

Andrew Wilson was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
