Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Falls to East Hill Christian in First Game of Season

Calvary Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the East Hill Christian Eagles on Thursday. The Patriots were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Calvary Christian Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-22, 25-13.

East Hill Christian can attribute much of their success to Charlie Coley, who had five digs and three aces.

East Hill Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 18th. Hopefully Calvary Christian Academy paid attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on September 9.
