Basketball Recap: Chisholm Trail Academy Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Chisholm Trail Academy had won two straight home games and Max Castro did his part to make it three on Monday. The Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers claimed a resounding 83-29 win over Dallas International thanks in part to Castro, who almost dropped a double-double on 42 points and nine steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Chisholm Trail Academy's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jadon Henderson, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points along with seven assists and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played.

Chisholm Trail Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chisholm Trail Academy will venture away from home to take on North Dallas Adventist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chisholm Trail Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Dallas International, they will head out to face off against Lakehill Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
