Baseball Preview: Carver Crusaders vs. Abington Green Wave
The Carver Crusaders will take on the Abington Green Wave at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carver will be strutting in after a win while Abington will be coming in after a loss.
Carver will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Cohasset, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Crusaders came out on top against the Skippers by a score of 4-1 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Crusaders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Ryder Holmes was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Carver is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-7 otherwise. Holmes was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Carver's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Abington, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
