Soccer Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Mountain View has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 3-1 to the Colonial Forge Eagles on Friday. Mountain View were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Colonial Forge earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Colonial Forge, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mountain View is set to face off against their familiar foe Brooke Point at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Colonial Forge will take on rival Riverbend at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Colonial Forge have won five straight at home, while Riverbend won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
