Basketball Recap: Atlantic County Institute of Tech Sets Scoring Season-High Against Bridgeton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atlantic County Institute of Tech). They walked away with a 69-62 victory over the Bridgeton Bulldogs on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Atlantic County Institute of Tech considering their 17-point performance the game before.

Bridgeton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jeremiah Russell, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds. Those 15 points gave Russell a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyion Gray, who posted 18 points.

Atlantic County Institute of Tech's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Bridgeton, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Atlantic County Institute of Tech will head out to square off against Pleasantville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bridgeton, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cedar Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
