Winneconne is 8-2 against Berlin since September of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Winneconne can attribute much of their success to Hallah Josephson, who had ten digs, and Bailey Church, who had three digs and 23 assists. Church is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Berlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Shiocton.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10.
Winneconne's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Berlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Winneconne was able to grind out a solid win over Berlin in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Winneconne since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
