Softball Recap: Sentinel Comes Up Short

Sentinel blew Flathead out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Flathead got their revenge. The Spartans fell just short of the Braves/Bravettes by a score of 7-5. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Braves/Bravettes earlier this season, when they won 15-1.

Sydney Goldbar was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Wright, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Sentinel's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Flathead, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-16.

Sentinel has already played their next game, a 14-11 loss against Glacier on the 8th. As for Flathead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-4 win against Hellgate on the 8th.
