Volleyball Recap: Los Altos Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Los Altos came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Fremont Firebirds 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Los Altos never let Fremont on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-20.

Liam Meyer paced Los Altos' offense, picking up 11 kills. Meyer got some help from Dexter Hatfield and his 35 assists. Meyer was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Los Altos pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Fremont, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
