Football Recap: Cypress Triumphs

The Cypress Centurions slipped by the Brea Olinda Wildcats 21-20 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Centurions.

Xavier Guerrero looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 143 yards and a pair of TDs.

Despite the loss, Brea Olinda still got an impressive performance from Kolotolu Liti, who rushed for 63 yards and three scores. Gavyn Nicholson helped out on the ground, rushing for 82 yards.

Cypress' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Brea Olinda, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Cypress will take on Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brea Olinda, they will face off against Diamond Bar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
