Pasco won the last time they faced Zephyrhills and things went their way on Friday too. The Pasco Pirates' defense stepped up to hand the Zephyrhills Bulldogs an 8-0 shutout. Considering the Pirates have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Pasco pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Zephyrhills, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Pasco and Zephyrhills could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Pasco (ranked 276th) will meet Wiregrass Ranch (ranked 36th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Zephyrhills (ranked 597th) will meet Sunlake (ranked 26th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
