Gallia Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Meigs Marauders 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Gallia Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-13.

Aubree Frazier paced Gallia Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Frazier got some help from Gracyn Clark and her 28 assists.

Despite the loss, Meigs still got an impressive performance from Marlee Laudermilt, who had ten digs and two aces. Laudermilt has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Gallia Academy's win bumped their record up to 20-0. As for Meigs, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-12.

Gallia Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Chesapeake on the 7th. As for Meigs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against River Valley on the 7th.
