Softball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

Scott lost against Highlands back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Scott fell 4-1 to Highlands. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scott saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Riley, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was Ashlyn Riley, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Highlands, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott will challenge Grant County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highlands, they will take on Campbell County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Campbell County will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Highlands surely won't give up without a fight.
