Volleyball Recap: Swett Takes a Loss

Swett lost against Bethel back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Swett Warriors fell just short of the Bethel Jaguars by a score of 3-2.

Swett wouldn't go down easily and took Bethel into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 19-25, 14-25, 15-11.

Swett now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bethel, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Swett will face off against Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Swett surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bethel, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Salesian College Preparatory at 7:00 p.m.
