Football Recap: Mason Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mason lost against DeWitt back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Traverse Moore had an outrageously good game for DeWitt as he rushed for 255 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 61 yards and one TD. Those 255 rushing yards gave Moore a new career-high.

Mason's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for DeWitt, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Mason and DeWitt should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Bulldogs (ranked 34th) will meet Williamston (ranked 92nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, DeWitt will take on Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (17 vs. 246).
