It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Avon Park ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lake Placid Dragons, sneaking past 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Red Devils, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Avon Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Engler, who went 2-for-5 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Engler has brought in this season.

Avon Park's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lake Placid, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
