Paradise Adventist Academy came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Elk Creek Elks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

The win didn't come easy: Elk Creek scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 25-18.

Kelsey Ching paced Paradise Adventist Academy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Ching got some help from Jenna Jeffries and her 23 assists. Shay Almodova controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Paradise Adventist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 23-10. As for Elk Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Paradise Adventist Academy nor Elk Creek have any future games scheduled.
