Baseball Recap: Phoebus Phantoms vs. Heritage Hurricanes        
        
		
            
 After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Bethel, Phoebus was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Heritage Hurricanes as the Phoebus Phantoms made off with  a  14-4 win. With that  victory, Phoebus brought their scoring average up to 6.4  runs per game.
  Joe Moore made a splash no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits (and not a single walk). Moore was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news, Phoebus let  Landen Upton-Hall and  Bryce Gillies loose on the outfield. Upton-Hall  scored two  runs and  stole five bases while going 3-for-3, while  Gillies  went 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, a  triple,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Xavier Nixon, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3.
 Phoebus' win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Heritage, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phoebus will  challenge Hampton at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Phoebus is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.4  runs per game  this season. As for Heritage, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Warwick at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Warwick is coming into the  match with three straight  victories at home,  so Heritage will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
