Football Recap: Great Plains Lutheran Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Great Plains Lutheran's offense. They were outmatched by the DeSmet Bulldogs and fell 36-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 46-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Great Plains Lutheran now has a losing record of 3-4. As for DeSmet, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Coming up, Great Plains Lutheran will head out to square off against Wilmot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for DeSmet, they will host Estelline/Hendricks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
