Softball Recap: Glenwood Takes a Loss

Glenwood suffered their closest loss since March 21, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Dadeville Tigers by a score of 4-2.

Glenwood saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Chapa, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base. Clara Crisco was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Glenwood has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14-1 record this season. As for Dadeville, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Coming up, Glenwood will host Lee-Scott Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dadeville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Dadeville Tigers face off against Beulah Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. They are facing Beulah at the right time seeing as Beulah is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
