Basketball Game Preview: West Mesquite Wranglers vs. South Oak Cliff Bears

The West Mesquite Wranglers will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the South Oak Cliff Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

West Mesquite is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They were dealt a 72-33 defeat at the hands of Garland on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wranglers have suffered against the Owls since November 26, 2018.

Meanwhile, South Oak Cliff beat The Colony 39-29 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

West Mesquite strolled past South Oak Cliff in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 43-25. Do the Wranglers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
