Volleyball Recap: Waller Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Waller saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lockhart Lions.

Waller's offense was headlined by Madison Mccain and Sasha Keys, who picked up five kills apiece. Keys really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. Dakota Hieber and Cecilia Lara kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Waller is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Lockhart, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Waller wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Hays on the 16th. As for Lockhart, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against La Grange on the 19th.
