Basketball Recap: Burlingame Comes Up Short

If Burlingame was riding high fresh off their 68-7 takedown of Bishop Seabury Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Burlingame Bearcats took a 37-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Elk Patriots.

Burlingame's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for West Elk, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Burlingame will head out on the road to take on Mission Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Elk, they have already played their next contest, a 38-36 defeat against Oxford on the 14th.
