Football Recap: Loyola Academy Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Chicago Mt. Carmel

Loyola Academy faced Chicago Mt. Carmel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Ramblers fell 35-24 to the Caravan. The Ramblers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Caravan apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Loyola Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4. As for Chicago Mt. Carmel, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Loyola Academy nor the Caravan have any future games scheduled.
