Monroe not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Preble Shawnee Arrows with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Monroe can attribute much of their success to Lily Mendez-Regules, who had five digs and five aces. Mendez-Regules is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Mendez-Regules wasn't the only good servers: Monroe was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive contests.

Monroe's win ended a nine-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-18. As for Preble Shawnee, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Monroe will challenge Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Preble Shawnee, they will face off against Edgewood at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
