Recap: Branchville Yellow Jackets vs. Military Magnet Academy Eagles
The Branchville Yellow Jackets posted their closest win yet this season on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Military Magnet Academy and snuck past 50-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Branchville.
Branchville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Marcus Felder out in front who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Felder has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kyran Glover, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Branchville's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Military Magnet Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
Branchville will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Whale Branch at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Whale Branch focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Saturday. As for Military Magnet Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Burke at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burke is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
