Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Cartersville

Cartersville had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the South Forsyth War Eagles. The Hurricanes were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the War Eagles, so the Hurricanes were just returning the favor.

Mckenzie Wilkie was the offensive standout of the game as she had 12 digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Cartersville's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South Forsyth, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Cartersville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Norcross on the 9th. As for South Forsyth, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Starr's Mill on the 9th.
