Arvin dropped their record down to 15-8-1 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell 10-6 to the Foothill Trojans. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

As for Foothill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games.

For Foothill's part, the team relied heavily on Carlos Ruano, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Ruano is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played. Marcos Carbajal was another key player, going 1-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arvin will venture away from home to square off against Mira Monte at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Foothill, they will head out on the road to challenge Golden Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Bulldogs will have lost nine straight heading into Tuesday's match.
