After a string of five wins, Arab's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 6-3 to the Sparkman Senators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Senators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-9 back in February.

Arab saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric Dawkins, who went 2-for-4 with one home run.

Arab's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Sparkman, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-19 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arab will head out to challenge Scottsboro at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sparkman, they will face off against Albertville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
