Volleyball Recap: Tea Takes a Loss

If Tea was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pierre T.F. Riggs on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans came up short against the Watertown Arrows on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Tea was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Watertown's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 26-24.

Watertown got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Andi Olson out in front who had 13 digs. Olson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Remmers, who had ten digs.

Tea's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Watertown, their record is now 8-4.

Coming up, Tea will take on Lennox at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Watertown, they will square off against Brookings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
