Softball Recap: Frisco Takes a Loss

Frisco managed to slip by Lebanon Trail the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raccoons came up short against the Trail Blazers on Friday, falling 15-3. The Raccoons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trail Blazers earlier this season, when they won 4-2.

Bailee Hodnett made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Frisco is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13-1. As for Lebanon Trail, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Frisco is set to challenge their familiar foe Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lebanon Trail will square off against rival Emerson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Trail Blazers have won five straight at home, while the Mavericks won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
