Community School of Davidson won the last time they faced Corvian Community and things went their way on Monday too. The Community School of Davidson Spartans had just enough and edged out the Corvian Community Cardinals 3-2. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Cardinals are ranked 205th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Amanda Hayes and Eliana Puma scored all three of Community School of Davidson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

The win made it two in a row for Community School of Davidson and bumps their season record up to 4-3. As for Corvian Community, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-3.
