Basketball Recap: Brewer Victorious

Brewer won the last time they faced Old Town and things went their way on Thursday too. The Witches walked away with a 52-40 win over the Coyotes. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Witches.

Brewer's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Old Town, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brewer will square off against Oxford Hills at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Witches will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 65.69 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Old Town, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against John Bapst Memorial at 1:30 p.m.
